Ripe Banana Chips is yet one another tasty snack from Kerala, referred to as Pazham Chips. This variant Banana Chips is prepared using ripe Nendran Banana. Nendran is a nutrient-rich plantain variety indigenous to Kerala. Freshly plucked ripe Banana are thinly sliced and deep fried in 100% natural coconut oil. The ‘Ripe Nendran’ banana is sliced and processed at low temperature assuring that the nutrients, vitamins and minerals present in the fruit are not lost. Ripe Banana Chips have a sweet flavour and delightful aroma of fresh coconut oil. Although sometime the slices are of different shapes (circular and long slices) the flavour of the chips remain the same.
